The Vagans launch a surprise attack on Earth after deploying sleeper agents worldwide. In response, Flit activates the Gundam AGE-3 and assigns it to Kio, who joins the Diva's mobile suit squad to fight against the invaders. This is reminiscent of how his ancestors also enlisted in the Diva to combat similar threats.
