At age 16, Himari Momochi receives a letter stating that she inherits a mansion called "Momochi House." Although raised in an orphanage, this is her only connection to her real family. Despite rumors of it being haunted, Himari ignores them and enters the house. There, she meets Aoi Nanamori and his companions Ise and Yukari who warn her to leave. However, Himari vows to make them leave instead. Soon after, she is attacked by youkai and discovers that the house sits in a space between the living world and spirit realm. Furthermore, Aoi was chosen as the guardian of the house, originally meant for Himari. But this great power came with an awful price: Aoi can never leave the mansion, and his existence in human world has been erased. Ignoring his pleas to leave, Himari promises to help him break the curse while living under the same roof as him.

Momochi-san Chi no Ayakashi Ouji has been published in English as The Demon Prince of Momochi House by VIZ Media under the Shojo Beat imprint since July 7, 2015, and in Polish by Waneko since July 3, 2015.
