An island known as Hatsune-jima has a crescent moon shape and is well-known for its cherry blossom trees. One of these trees is said to grant any wish. Recently, the unofficial newspaper club challenged the official newspaper club to write better articles. Ricca Morizono from the unofficial club accepted this challenge along with Himeno Katsuragi, Charles Yoshino, Sara Rukawa, Aoi Hinomoto, and the only male member of the group, Kiyotaka Yoshino, who is also the protagonist. However, the girls found Kiyotaka to be quite a distraction.
