Shinjou is entering high school with a desire to start anew after not being popular in Middle School. He's trying to fit in with his new appearance and personality when he encounters Kurai Kako, a former classmate who also struggled with invisibility in Middle School. Now, both of them have transformed their looks and personalities for the same reason: to attract a partner in high school. They decide to make a bet on who will get a boyfriend/girlfriend first.
