Saiyuki Reload, 最遊記RELOAD

The four brave travelers continue their westward voyage towards Shangri-La, facing new obstacles and experiences as they go. Although their reputation precedes them, it does not always manifest in the way one might anticipate. It seems that even the legendary Minus Wave, which is said to have driven all the youkai in the land insane, may have spared one soul. As Sanzou, Gojou, Hakkai and Gokuu come across a lone guardian and his charges, fear and confusion permeate this leg of their journey, extending even among the members of the Sanzou group.

Saiyuuki Reload had nine volumes published in English by Tokyopop from August 9, 2005 to January 6, 2009, before the publisher became defunct. The final volume was published by Singaporean based publisher Chuang Yi in October 2010.
