In this realm, Nami possesses magical abilities but struggles with controlling them due to her clumsy disposition. Although secondary to managing her emotions, she is determined to master both aspects. Upon meeting Ryotaro Tominaga through a chance encounter while riding his bike, Nami's anxiety intensifies as she yearns for understanding and love from him, despite his initial contempt towards her. Nami embodies kindness and compassion but lacks the courage and resolve necessary to make critical decisions, particularly in the final stages of high school. In this world, where emotions run rampant, friendships are tested, misunderstandings abound, unrequited love flourishes, hate simmers, and passion ignites as individuals strive to discover their true place.

Mahoutsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Taiyou to Kaze no Sakamichi was first published in English as Somedays Dreamers: Spellbound by Tokyopop from December 12, 2006 to March 11, 2008. The license was later picked up by VIZ Media, and the series published digitally from March 31, 2015 to July 28, 2015, under the VIZ Select imprint.
