Nami Tamaki (玉置成実) is a young pop singer from Japan who gained fame for her powerful dancing and youthful age. She began her career after being selected out of 5,000 contestants in the Sony Music Japan Audition in 2003, where she sang and danced to Destiny's Child's "Survivor". Tamaki has since become known for her commercial tie-ins with the Japanese anime and games industry. She has also appeared in a stage musical and movie.
