Doug Rye

Douglas Forsythe Rye is a voice actor who has worked with notable companies like Bank of America, The Discovery Channel, NBC, and Qwest. He began acting as a child and studied at New York University alongside Olympia Dukakis and Lloyd Richards. During his time there, he also worked with Jason Robards III, Melissa Manchester, Michael McKean, and Christopher Guest. Rye has experience working behind the scenes for many great musical acts, including The Grateful Dead, who he toured with as part of their crew for nine years. He was also a stage hand at the historic Woodstock Festival in 1969 and performed as an opening act for Carlos Santana. Additionally, Rye has been a crew member for famous musical acts such as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Commodores, The Eagles, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Mel Tormé.
