In 2002, Romina Gaetani, a Mexican voice actress and singer, began her career in the world of dubbing. She got started thanks to Mariana Tohen Candiani, who invited her to record a character for a show because she was a talented singer. On the same day, Romina also met Jack Jackson at Candiani Dubbing Studios, where he needed a singer for his project. Mariana recommended Romina, and after giving her a voice test, Jack chose her to sing the opening theme of Maggie, a fly with a wave. This experience led Jack to introduce Romina to Raúl Aldana, who was also a talented dubber and could do both singing and spoken dubbing.
