Nightmare  

In January 2000, Sakito and Hitsugi started the band Nightmare with some high school classmates. They were influenced by X Japan or Luna Sea in different ways. Most of their songs feature heavy metal elements, including a strong bass line, complex rhythms, and changes in melodic keys. Although they have recently incorporated avantgarde/alternative elements into their music (as seen in the "anima" album), Nightmare's roots remain firmly planted in their indies days. They have also experimented with jazz, ambience, electronica, techno, and bossa nova styles of music. While many of their songs are fast-paced, they have also written rock ballads.
