Judd Asher Nelson is an American actor who was born on November 28, 1959. He gained fame for his roles as John Bender in The Breakfast Club, Alec Newbary in St. Elmos Fire, and Jack Richmond in Suddenly Susan. During the 1980s, he became part of a group known as "The Brat Pack," which included other actors who starred in popular films such as Joel Schumacher's St. Elmos Fire and John Hughes' The Breakfast Club (his most notable role). He also provided the voice for Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime in Transformers: The Movie, and appeared in Making the Grade and Fandango alongside Kevin Costner.
