Moebius  

In 1963, Giraud adopted the pseudonym "Moebius" for his work in science fiction and fantasy. He first used this name in a satirical magazine called Hara-Kiri, where he created 21 strips between 1963 and 1964. After disappearing for nearly a decade, Moebius returned to the public eye in 1975 with Métal Hurlant, which he co-created. In this magazine, he began his famous LIncal series in collaboration with Alejandro Jodorowsky. Additionally, Moebius's groundbreaking Arzach and The Airtight Garage also debuted in Métal Hurlant. Throughout his career, Moebius contributed storyboards and concept designs to numerous science fiction films, including Alien, The Time Masters, Tron, Masters of the Universe, Willow, The Abyss, and Little Nemo.
