Yukie Nakauchi

Yukie Nakauchi was born in Hokkaido, Japan and graduated from Tama Art University's graphic design department. She is currently pursuing her studies in animation at Tokyo University of the Arts' Graduate School of Film and New Media. Her animated films incorporate music and feature geometrically shaped characters as inspiration. "Celebration and Chorale" was selected for the Ottawa International Animation Festival in 2013, where it won a Silver award. Nakauchi also co-directed the music video for Shugo Tokumaru's "Poker" with Mirai Mizue.
