Wataru Urata belongs to USSS (UraShimaSakataSen/浦島坂田船), which is a Nico Nico Singer Group. As an utaite, he frequently incorporates wordplay into his performances that revolve around the "tanuki" part of his name, meaning "raccoon" in Japanese. This has led to him being often depicted with a raccoon as part of his persona.
