Makoto Yukimura
The individual started out as an assistant to Shin Morimura before creating his own manga. Planetes was his debut work which was adapted into a 26-episode anime. Currently, he is working on Vinland Saga, which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine and later continued in Afternoon. This individual received the 2009 Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize for Vinland Saga.
