RIP SLYME (often written as RIP SLYME) is a Japanese hip hop group made up of four MCs: Ryo-Z, Ilmari, Pes & Su, and a DJ named Fumiya. Their music style is influenced by old school hip hop as well as other popular hip hop artists such as The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, the Beastie Boys, DJ Premier, and Leaders of the New School.
