Rebecca Lynn Olkowski is an American voice actress who began her acting career at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. She initially worked at Knotts Berry Farms Bird Cage Theater performing melodramas as the damsel in distress character. Afterward, she moved to Hollywood and took on various roles such as wardrobe mistress for TV shows like The White Shadow and Hill Street Blues, as well as film work with S.O.B.. She also spent several years doing live theater in Los Angeles. Notable among her early achievements was winning recognition for portraying Josette in the world premiere of Eugène Ionescos Tales for People Under 3 Years of Age at Stages Theatre Center in 1982. Over time, she starred in low-budget movies like Mugsys Girls and Round Numbers, appeared on TV shows such as Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, and L.A. Law, and had a voice acting breakthrough with the leading role of Lynn Minmei in Robotech, an anime series popular in the 1980s. Since then, she has voiced hundreds of other anime characters, expanded into non-anime cartoons, live-action shows like Masked Rider and Power Rangers Time Force, commercials, radio work, and provided background voices for movies including Antz, Dr. Dolittle, and The Santa Clause.
