Knight is a professional actor who has worked in various mediums throughout his life. He began acting at an early age when he toured the country as Little Billy Knight, World's Youngest Boy Preacher, alongside Aimee Semple MacPherson. After transitioning to theatre, he spent 15 years working on and off Broadway before joining the US Air Force as a lowly enlisted man. During his time in the military, he played some of the most famous generals of the 20th century, including MacArthur, Eisenhower, and Patton. Knight has also done most of Neil Simon's works in dinner theatre and is known for his profoundly moving performance as Brian Friels' Faith Healer off Broadway. His favorite musical is 1776, and he has played a range of classical roles from Iago in Othello to the Sheriff in Much Ado About Nothing. Knight's first TV role was on Star Trek, and he has since appeared in many films such as Stargate, Nautilus, and Exorcism. He has also voiced numerous documentaries, commercials, and announced CBS Ch 2 News for several years. Knight remains active today with extensive voice work.
