Yumeka, also known by her pen name Sumomo, is an artist who primarily creates shounen-ai works. Her work can be found in magazines such as Craft (Taiyo Tosho), Asuka (Kadokawa Shoten), and Rooster (Shobunka). She has also served as the chief illustrator for several series, including Shosetsu Eclipse (Ohta Shuppan), Shosetsu Chara (Tokuma Shoten), and Shosetsu b-Boy (Biblos). In addition to her shounen-ai work, Yumeka also has a pen name called Sasshi, which she uses for her doujinshi. Her doujinshi includes works based on Gundam W, One Piece, and Naruto. She is also known by the pen names Sahara, Mizu (佐原 ミズ) for her seinen work and Sahara, Keita (佐原 恵太) for her shoujo work. Yumeka's works are published in magazines such as Afternoon (Kodansha), Melody (Shueisha), Comic Bunch (Shinchosha), Dessert (Kodansha), The Dessert, and Dessert Special (Kodansha). In her epilogues, she often describes herself as not satisfied with what she has done but is grateful to the people she works with. There are rumors that Yumeka may be a layout artist for Studio Ghibli.
