Jiro Matsumoto is a renowned Japanese manga artist celebrated for his work on Freesia, Uncivilized Planet, Keep on Vibrating, Wendy, Avant-Pop Mars, Little Feet, A Revolutionist in the Afternoon and Tropical Citron. His manga are known to contain excessive amounts of sexuality and violence. Jiro graduated from Sculpture Department Faculty of Musashino Art University in 1992. He was an assistant to Hukuyama Youzi, who felt that he was too careless with his screen tones. Jiro's brother is Taro Matsumoto, a devout Christian manga-ka. Additionally, Jiro is a fan of The Simpsons and plays guitar renditions at the Miro Dance Theatre, which are themed in funk music.
