George Edmond Manley, born September 17, 1965 in Sacramento, California, is an American voice artist, adaptation writer, novelist, and screenplay writer. He received his education at San Jose State University, majoring in theatre arts, the University of Nevada, Reno, majoring in journalism, and holds an associate of science degree in Computer Information Systems from Morrison University. Manley trained at San Francisco's Voice One Studio and with Braintracks Audios Nancy Wolfson in commercial and character voiceover.
Manley has worked on several ADV Films productions, including providing the voices for Francesco in Noir; Impact, the giant robot in Legend of the Mystical Ninja; Hyugi Zeravire from Super Heavyweight God Gravion Zwei; Barba from Hakugei Legend of The Moby Dick; and the English-language narrator for Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman. He has also written adaptation scripts for the last six episodes of Gantz, and is the series writer for several anime adaptations including Super Dimension Fortress Macross, 009-1, Coyote Ragtime Show, Pumpkin Scissors, and Kadokawa USAs Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.
Manley was inspired to become a voice artist after meeting and receiving encouragement from voice artists Amanda Winn-Lee, Tiffany Grant, and her husband ADV Films president Matt Greenfield at the 2002 FanimeCon. He is also an on-air personality for Houston's Turning Sight Into Sound Radio (now known as The Blind Foundation), where he reads the Houston Chronicle and Sports Illustrated on a weekly basis.
