Sousuke Tooka, also known by his pseudonym Goriemon or Tokatada, is a former salaryman who left his job to pursue his passion for being a manga artist. In 2017, at the age of 40, he began drawing his first series, Ousama Ranking, which was published on Manga Hack and became a worldwide success. His inspiration for Prince Bojji comes from RPG games where protagonists don't speak, creating a more immersive experience for players. Although he has a slight hearing problem, it has little impact on his work. Initially, he aimed to be a children's book illustrator but won a grand prize in an illustration contest and decided to create webcomics instead. Growing up, his parents banned manga and anime due to their conservative views, so he keeps his manga artist career hidden from them. Currently single and living with his cats, Sousuke leads a monotonous but easygoing life. His dream has always been to be a manga artist. Kinnikuman and Dragon Ball are his favorite works, and Akira Toriyama is his most influential manga artist. He also enjoys "One Piece," Fullmetal Alchemist, and GeGeGe no Kitarou. Additionally, Sousuke loves fairy tales with happy endings, and his favorite movie is The NeverEnding Story.
