Noriko Tsukase (December 23, 1945-May 15, 1989) was a renowned voice actress (seiyuu) in Japan during the 70s and 80s. She was born as Noriko Tsukase (塚瀬紀子) in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. Her most notable roles include Spank from Ohayou! Spank, Miss Alphonne from the original Cutie Honey TV series, and Non (and Furu-Furu the cat) from Majokko Megu-chan. Other significant contributions were Danko-sensei in Kosoku Denjin Albegas, Tamu-Tamu in Temple the Balloonist, Hajime in Doteraman, Harubo in Ippatsuman, Shota in Plawres Sanshiro, Jacky in Jacky the Bear Cub, Teko in Mahou Shoujo Lalabel, and Tera in Future Boy Conan. She also lent her voice to several minor or guest roles in series such as Devilman, Dragon Ball, Tokimeki Tonight, Gatchaman, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Alps no Shoujo Heidi, Dororon Enma-kun, and Himitsu no Akko-chan. Tsukase passed away on May 15, 1989 from rectal cancer while affiliated with Aoni Production during her active career.
