Bump of Chicken is a Japanese rock band consisting of four members. The name "Bump of Chicken" was intended as an attack on cowardice. Motoo Fujiwara, also known as "FujiKun," is the composer, lyricist, guitarist, and main vocalist of the group. He has written most of the music and drawn artwork for their albums The Living Dead and Yggdrasil. Hiroaki Masukawa, referred to as "Hiro," is the guitarist of the band and writes hidden joke tracks for albums. Despite being known as a shy member of the group, he calls himself pessimistic. He jokes that he falls ill exactly four times a year and is an anime and game otaku, with rare genius qualities. Hideo Masu is the drummer and creator of the band.
