In Niigata Prefecture, Japan, there was born an artist named Mizushima Shinji. This individual gained notoriety for their work in baseball manga, which includes Yakyuu-kyou no Uta, Dokaben, and Abu-san. They have been recognized with the Shogakukan Manga Award twice.
