Maruo Miho is a screenwriter for anime who belongs to the Writers Guild of Japan. Her first steps as a writer were on episodes of Sazae-san and Doraemon in 1983, under her real name. She later changed to her current pseudonym shortly after. Most of her work involves shoujo shows such as Mahou Tsukai Sally and Kodocha. Her debut as a series composer was on the second season of Shounen Ashibe in 1992. She often collaborates with other female members of the Writers Guild, including Reiko Yoshida and Mamiko Ikeda.
