Tooru Miura  

In May 1985, Toru Miura was appointed as the representative director of Anime International Company (AIC). In 2014, Toru Miura purchased AIC from Aplix IP Holdings for a total of 8000 yen or approximately $77 in exchange for 8000 shares of AIC. Later on, in 2015, Toru Miura stepped down as representative director at AIC and was succeeded by Yasutaka Omura. On January 12, 2020, Yasutaka Omura announced his resignation as representative director at AIC while remaining as representative director at AIC Rights. As a result, Toru Miura resumed his role as representative director at AIC. Typically, Toru Miura serves as an animation planner or executive producer for anime produced by Anime International Company and its sub-studios such as "AIC ASTA", "AIC Build", and "AIC Spirits" among others.
