Toshitsugu Saida  

Saida is an esteemed animator who has worked with Oh! Productions since its inception in 1970. He studied under Kazuo Komatsubara and Kouichi Murata and quickly rose to become one of the studio's most renowned animators. Saida is known for his exceptional skills in drawing key animation for Gauche the Cellist, which was a major success. He has also contributed as character designer and animation director for numerous 70s and 80s series that were imported to Europe, including Shoukoujo Sara and Haha o Tazunete Sanzenri. Despite his age, Saida remains active in his work, focusing primarily on the long-running Chibi Maruko-chan series.
