Shiho Niiyama (March 21, 1970 - February 7, 2000) was a renowned Japanese seiyuu who worked with Aoni Production. Known for her roles in Sailor Stars and Deedlit from Lodoss-tou Senki, among others, Niiyama also belonged to the voice actress group Virgo, which provided voices for Ojousama Sousamou anime and game. In 1998, she was diagnosed with leukemia and passed away in 2000 at the age of 29 due to internal bleeding following pneumonia. After her death, Niiyamas ongoing roles were taken over by Tarako, Satsuki Yukino, Makiko Oumoto, and Junko Noda. Her last project was voicing Deedlit.
