Hasegawa Nahoko is a Japanese novelist and screenwriter who was born in Tokyo, Japan. She made her debut as an anime writer in 1992 with Tenchi Muyou, which is one of her favorite genres - love comedies. However, she had prior experience in the animation industry before making her writing debut. In fact, she worked on Southern Cross as a member of the production desk's art and literature team, where she also wrote shoujo manga.
