Noriyuki Asakura is a musician born in Tokyo who began his career in 1982 by performing the theme song for a TV series. Since then, he has expanded his career into composing and producing music, including writing songs for pop artists such as Hikaru Nishida and Kahoru Kohiruimaki. However, as his creative interests diversified, he started focusing more on soundtrack composition for TV shows, anime, games, and movies. His dual experience in both pop and soundtrack production makes him one of the few individuals capable of producing high-quality material in either field.
Noriyuki's musical talent is showcased in the soundtracks for popular animation series such as "Rurouni Kenshin" (1995) and the international success of PlayStation game "Tenchu" (1998). He has just finished working on the soundtrack for "Tenchu 2," and is now looking for opportunities in Hollywood to showcase his unique musical style, which combines elements from throughout Asia. His music fuses traditional Chinese and Japanese sounds with influences from the Middle East and Western Asia, creating a Pan-Asian sound that can move and excite listeners around the world.
