She has a long career that spans over five decades and began in 1959. Rocío is the sister of Sylvia Garcel and aunt of Vanessa Garcel. Additionally, she is married to actor Jorge Roig, with whom she had a son named Jorge Roig Jr., who is also an actor and musician. In 1998, Rocío left the Dragon Ball Z franchise due to issues with INTERTRACK, the now-defunct company that employed her for the role of Bulma.
