Hirokawa Taichirou was a renowned Japanese voice actor and narrator who passed away on March 3, 2008 in Shibuya from cancer. He was born in Tokyo on February 15, 1940, and he would have been 68 years old at the time of his death. His demise was announced at the start of the 2nd Seiyuu Awards.
