Shinichi Hoshi  

Shinichi Hoshi was a Japanese author who excelled at writing short-short science fiction stories that were typically no longer than three or four pages. He wrote over one thousand such tales, and his work is highly regarded for its brevity and impact. In addition to his science fiction, he also penned mysteries, earning him the Mystery Writers of Japan Award in 1968 for Mousou Ginkou (Delusion Bank).
