In 1998, Amano started her career at Weekly Young Magazine and also worked for Shueisha Publishing Co., Ltd. In 2002, she won a contest for aspiring mangaka with her comic Monkey Business being published in Young Magazine. Her big break came in 2004 with the release of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, which was known for its humorous and classy storytelling. Amano's creativity shone through as she introduced unique characters to add humor to the plot, a distinctive narrative style, and fast-paced action sequences. The main characters in her work include Ken Osamu Sakaki (KAITO), Main pine of indigo, and Kobayashi Kasuga truth.
