Nogami is an artist who gained recognition through his work on Strike Witches doujinshi (Witches in Africa). He began his professional manga career with Koutetsu no Shoujo-tachi, which was published by Kadokawa Shoten. However, due to certain circumstances, the series was cancelled after volume 4. Currently, Nogami is working on several projects, including Sailor Fuku to Jyuusensha, a comic about tank-riding high school girls published by Akita Shoten; Tsuki no Umi no Rua, a World War II-inspired comic based on Kaguya-hime tales from Shonen Gahosha; and Moeyo Sensha Gakkou!!, a tank-themed comic for Ikaros Publishing. Based on his portfolio, it appears that Nogami enjoys creating stories with military themes.
