Toshiie maeda and matsu visit shikoku's governor, motochika chousokabe. they inform him of unreasonable demands made by nobunaga. motochika refuses these demands and advises toshiie to betray nobunaga. meanwhile, keiji tries to persuade motonari to join the fight against nobunaga but is imprisoned. as a result, motochika and motonari become adversaries.
