During Japan's Sengoku period, various powerful warlords vied for control in politics and battlefields with the goal of unifying the nation under a central government. Among them was Nobunaga Oda, who had amassed significant strength and military resources to conquer all of Japan. However, Shingen Takeda and his trusted warrior Yukimura Sanada stood in opposition to him. On one night, Sanada received an order to launch a surprise attack against General Kenshin Uesugi, but the plan was thwarted by Masamune Date and his army. As a result of this encounter, Sanada and Date formed a heated rivalry despite their mutual admiration for each other. Despite Nobunaga's continued efforts to expand his influence across Japan, Sanada and Date were forced to put aside their differences in order to stop him from achieving his tyrannical reign over feudal Japan. The clash of magical, militant, and political powers intensified as these warriors and leaders battled each other and the armies of Nobunaga.
