In August 1995, Mikiya Kokutou encounters a young woman dressed in kimono attire named Shiki Ryougi. Upon discovering that they attend the same school, Mikiya tries to make friends with her despite her unusual upbringing and peculiar personality. Despite his initial apprehension, Mikiya persists in getting to know Shiki, who gradually warms up to him. However, Mikiyas life will be forever altered by this chance encounter, as he comes to realize a dark side to his new friend that he never could have imagined.
