Since 1978, NTV has been hosting an annual charity event called "24-Hour Television". During this event, Tezuka Production created anime specials under the guidance of Osamu Tezuka. One such production was "Bremen 4: Jigoku no Naka no Tenshi-tachi", which aired in 1981. The title translates to "Bremen 4: Angels in Hell" in English. This anime follows the story of four animals, Coda the cat, Alegro the dog, Largo the donkey and Minuet the chicken, who save Rondo the alien on a peace mission. In return, Rondo gives them a machine that allows them to transform into humans. They then go to the town and witness the horrors of war.
