For many years in the Kagami family, an antique Western palm-sized mirror has been passed down from generation to generation. Akko-chan was taught about its significance and treasured it deeply when her mother finally gave it to her. However, during a ruckus caused by Taishou and his friends, Akko accidentally broke the mirror. She then buried the shattered pieces in the backyard out of fear. That night, she was awakened by a brilliant light and a gentle voice that belonged to the Queen of the Mirror Kingdom. The Queen thanked Akko for valuing the mirror so much and presented her with a gift: a magical compact mirror. Whenever Akko recites specific words, she can transform into anything she desires.
