The Nighthawk's Star

The stars in the sky appear to maintain a distant, eternal order that is difficult for earthbound beings to achieve, as it requires an immense amount of energy to transform from an earthly creature into a shining star. despite facing hardship and being rejected by other birds, the nighthawk was able to harness its struggles and use them to gain the necessary energy to reach the heavens and become known as the nighthawk star. the short film "kenji miyazawa's 80+ years of fairy tales" celebrates the life and work of japanese author kenji miyazawa, who drew inspiration from the story of the nighthawk to create his own tales of wonder and imagination.
