In Neo-Tokyo, young people have formed tribes in search of purpose and belonging. However, fierce loyalty within these groups has sometimes led to violent conflicts. To address this issue, the government introduced the XB Law, which mandates that tribe disputes be resolved through Extreme Baseball. This futuristic version of baseball features modified rules, fewer restrictions, and innovative uses of technology. When Haru Shirokane is bullied by a group of youngsters, he is rescued unexpectedly by Shun Kamiya and Taiga. It turns out that Shun is the star player for the Minato Tribe, the top-ranked team in Minato City. Meanwhile, Taiga aims to defeat Shun and become the strongest in Extreme Baseball. Through a series of chance events, Haru and Taiga are drawn into joining the Minato Tribe. As the tribes across Minato City face a new threat from the enigmatic Oujirou Otori, the Minato Tribe may need the help of their two new rookies to overcome this evil force.

Tribe Nine is a part of the Japanese multimedia franchise of the same name, collaborated by Too Kyo Games, Akatsuki Inc., and LIDENFILMS.The series was released on Blu-ray in a special limited version on April 27, 2022
