The former queen of Yamatai, Himiko, has decided to wage war against all magatama wielders of Kanto in an attempt to recover her lost kingdom. In order to do so, she must gather the true Three Sacred Treasures of Japan. When Asaemon Yamada, Himikos ally, ruthlessly attacks Nanyou Academy-which possesses the sacred sword Himiko is after-Chuubou Sonken and Hakufu Sonsaku's newfound sister awaken their dragons but lose consciousness. Determined to save her sibling, Hakufu must recover her magatama at the Jofuku Temple-a legendary place where she will receive training that may cost her life. As the frontier between the living and the dead begins to vanish in Jofuku, the warriors of the Kanto region must unite to thwart Himikos mysterious plans.

Shin Ikkitousen was released on Blu-ray and DVD on June 24, 2022.
