Yukichi Fukuzawa, who was previously focused on military matters, decides to become a freelance bodyguard-for-hire using his deadly swordsmanship skills. However, his business is not going as planned when he encounters Ranpo Edogawa, a mouthy boy who becomes his partner in solving a bizarre murder mystery. This leads to the formation of the Armed Detective Agency. Currently, Ranpo is chasing down a gifted individual who can execute perfect crimes. However, as he unravels the case, he discovers an elaborate plot to destroy the agency entirely. Despite being warned of the trap, the agency continues its pursuit of criminals, only to be framed for the crime themselves. Now branded as wanted terrorists, the remaining members must find a way to prove their innocence, even if they must turn to their sworn enemies for help.
