High school student Junta Shiraishi aims to lead a fulfilling life during his teenage years. Despite this objective seeming attainable at first glance, Shiraishi faces challenges due to his lack of presence or visibility among those around him. His classmates often overlook him and assume he's absent or skipping school because they don't see him very often. Even a rumor circulates about the good fortune that comes from spotting him. The only person who recognizes Shiraishi is Nagisa Kubo, his neighbor in class. Unfortunately for Shiraishi, Kubo enjoys teasing him daily and exposing him to uncomfortable situations. However, as Kubos playful antics continue to involve Shiraishi, he may come to realize that his youth could be more exciting than he initially imagined.
