Zoids are mechanical creatures that can be used for both everyday purposes like transportation and special occasions such as warfare. Some of these machines have the ability to fuse with living organisms known as Organoids, making them even more powerful. Van Freiheit comes across an Organoid while running from two strangers in a laboratory. In addition to the Organoid, he also discovers a strange girl and takes her with him. Later, Van names the Organoid Zeke and decides to keep it as his friend. The girl, who introduces herself as Fiona, is on a quest to find something called Zoids Eve. As a result, Van, Zeke, and Fiona embark on an adventure together.
