In Twisted Wonderland, a human named Yuuken "Yuu" Enma finds himself at Night Raven College after being involved in a car accident on his way to a kendo tournament. As he has no magical abilities, it is unclear how he ended up at this prestigious magical institution. Despite his desire to return home, Yuu faces challenges in finding a way back due to his lack of magic. Meanwhile, he becomes a target for Heartslabyul dorm leader Riddle Rosehearts after the chaos at the entrance ceremony following his arrival. While working on manual labor around the campus, Yuu befriends Heartslabyul freshmen Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade. However, their actions lead to their expulsion from the school. Determined to redeem themselves, they embark on a dangerous mission to fix school property. However, forgiveness does not come easily from the "Crimson Tyrant," who may have ulterior motives behind his strictness. As Yuu accompanies his friends on their quest, he must navigate the complexities of this magical world while trying to find a way back home.
