The anime film "Prince of Ten Thousand Years" follows the story of Susanoo, a deity who has taken on the form of a cute boy. His mother Izanami passed away, causing him great sadness. Despite his father Izanagi's warnings, Susanoo embarks on a journey to find his mother in the heavens. Along with his companions Akahana and Taitanbo, he overcomes all obstacles and eventually arrives at the Izumo Province. There, he meets Princess Kushinada, whom he befriends due to her resemblance to his deceased mother. The princess's family tells Susanoo that their seven other daughters were sacrificed to the fearsome Orochi serpent. Driven by love for Kushinada and a desire to protect her, Susanoo decides to help her family defeat the Orochi once and for all, along with Akahana and Taitanbo in a grand showdown.
