In a time known as the Dark Age, humanity is oppressed by the tyranny of Vandel, a being with the power to control monsters. The Vandel Busters are a group dedicated to hunting these devils, and among them, the Zenon Squad is renowned for its strength across the continent. A youthful individual named Beet aspires to join this elite squad. However, due to his error, the Zenon team suffers a devastating defeat at the hands of Beltose, the devil. The five dying busters transfer their life energy into their weapons, Saiga, before passing away. Years have elapsed since then, and now Beet embarks on a journey to fulfill the Zenon Squad's mission of ending the Dark Age.
